Travel BrazerPosition Title: Travel Brazer

Pay Rate: Up to $32.00/Hour + Overtime + Per Diem + Company-Paid Lodging

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Travel Brazers to support manufacturing, HVAC, aerospace, refrigeration, and industrial production projects throughout the United States. This position requires candidates to perform brazing operations on copper, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal components while ensuring products meet quality and specification requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform torch brazing on tubing, piping, assemblies, and fabricated metal components.
• Braze copper-to-copper, copper-to-brass, copper-to-steel, and other material combinations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
• Assemble and fit components prior to brazing.
• Select proper filler metals, fluxes, and brazing techniques based on material requirements.
• Inspect brazed joints for proper penetration, strength, and appearance.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges to verify quality requirements.
• Operate hand tools, grinders, saws, and fabrication equipment as required.
• Maintain production and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of brazing experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience brazing copper tubing, refrigeration lines, heat exchangers, coils, assemblies, or industrial components.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of filler metals, fluxes, and proper heat application.
• Ability to travel nationwide for project assignments lasting 3-6+ months.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC manufacturing experience.
• Refrigeration system assembly experience.
• Aerospace brazing experience.
• AWS Brazing Certification or equivalent.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or Stick).
• Quality inspection experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to wear PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and respirators when required.

Compensation & Benefits

• $32.00 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours

Schedule

• 50-60 hours per week

The ideal candidate will have experience brazing HVAC coils, refrigeration systems, copper tubing assemblies, heat exchangers, aerospace components, or industrial equipment and be comfortable traveling nationwide to support customer projects.
