Cabinet Painter & Wood Finisher Location: Longwood, FL Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–3:30 PM Pay: $24–$30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications About the Position Closet Factory Orlando is a locally owned and operated custom cabinetry company specializing in custom closets, garages, home offices, entertainment centers, libraries, and other built-in cabinetry. A major part of what sets our product apart is our ability to produce professionally painted, stained, and custom-finished cabinetry in our own local factory. We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Painter & Wood Finisher to join our production team in Longwood. This is a skilled position for someone with professional spray-finishing experience who can step into the role and begin producing quality work with minimal training. The position handles the complete finishing process for MDF, hardwood, and veneer components. Responsibilities Prepare, sand, and finish MDF, hardwood, and veneer cabinetry and components Spray post-catalyzed lacquer paint and clear finishes using professional spray equipment Apply stains, sealers, toners, and other wood-finishing products Mix and match colors, stains, and coatings as needed Inspect finished work and correct finish imperfections Maintain spray equipment, finishing tools, and a clean, safe work area Work with the production team to maintain quality and production schedules Qualifications Professional cabinet, furniture, millwork, or wood-finishing experience required Strong professional spray-finishing skills Experience with post-catalyzed lacquer, stains, toners, sealers, and clear finishes Must be able to independently prepare and finish both painted and stained cabinetry Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable and able to work effectively in a production environment Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have the experience necessary to begin performing professional cabinet painting and wood-finishing work upon hire.
