Description:
We are seeking a School Social Worker to support high school students in a welcoming school environment.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 7:20 AM 2:25 PM
• Caseload: Approximately 30 40 students
• Grade Level: High School
• School Setting: Supporting students across two high schools located on the same campus

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work support and services to high school students.
• Work with students with Cognitive Impairments (CI), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and resource students .
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other support professionals.
• Help address students' social, emotional, behavioral, and educational needs.
• Maintain appropriate documentation and support student goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Social Worker credentials/licensure as required by Michigan.
• Experience working with high school students preferred.
• Experience supporting students with ASD and/or cognitive impairments is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
